Restaurants in Zürich, Belvoirpark, Josef, Ginger

Stay cool during hot summer days! Chef’s Handyman goes out!

It’s summer time! A great season to go out for lunch or dinner. Good for those restaurants with a garden or light and creative cuisines. Three favorite places chosen by the Chef’s Handyman team to stay cool during hot summer days.

The restaurant Belvoirpark in Zurich is located in the middle of a gorgeous garden. When the sun is shining, a huge parasol will give some shade. It’s such a nice place to rest, also with friends. The menu is up-and-coming. The dishes are nicely presented and the portions are huge. The menus include also vegetarian dishes. The dessert trolley is delightful and the selection of cheese just great. The restaurant is part of the school of hotel management. The trainees are the tomorrows chefs and hotel managers. Have a look and a try. The place is highly recommended from the Chef’s Handyman team.

The restaurant Josef is located in the heart of Zurich. The places outside are seeded next to an urban street. It’s a lively area. The interior is fascinating. Maybe you will be seated next to Frank Zappa. The wall shows pictures of famous singers. All main courses do have the same prices. The portions are small, so that a selection of different smaller dishes can be taken. I like the tapa style concept very much. So there will be a chance to test different flavors and dishes. They have also vegetarian dishes on the menu.

The restaurant Ginger is located in the Seefeld area at the other end of Zurich. Like the Josef the Ginger is also trendy and well known. The sushi bar is separated from the restaurant. The sushi dishes are going down well. When seated in the restaurant area there will be an open space to the sushi production. It’s fascinating how fast they produce these delicious pieces. They serve also awesome bean curd dishes or vegetarian salads. For all Japanese food lovers is the Ginger a must. Reservations are recommended.

Bon appetite, yours Chef’s Handyman Team!
